Senior Data Quality Analyst | Banking | Sydney CBD

We are seeking a Senior Data Quality Analyst to join a high-profile, large-scale data migration program for a leading bank. This is a hands-on execution role focusing on customer data, product arrangements, and complex validation within a Product Model framework.

Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid - 3 days in office) | Permanent Role

The Role

Working closely with the Data Quality Delivery Lead, you will ensure the integrity of data moving through a complex migration lifecycle. You’ll be the bridge between Business, Tech, and Operations to ensure data is "fit for purpose."

• Data Validation: Perform individual record validation and volumetric analysis on customer and banking product data.

• Technical Execution: Drive data profiling, defect triage, and remediation tracking.

• Coordination: Manage technology release activities and ensure evidence is produced for migration milestones.

• Governance: Develop DQ rules, validation evidence, and reporting packs for executive stakeholders.

Technical Toolkit

• SQL & Python: Strong capability for data manipulation and analysis.

• Visualization: Power BI for DQ reporting and dashboards.

• Cloud: Experience working within Azure Cloud environments.

• Tooling: Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) is highly regarded (nice to have).

Your Background

• Banking Experience: Deep understanding of banking products, customer data, and regulated environments is a significant plus.

• Migration Expertise: Proven track record in large-scale data migration or transformation programs.

• Data Modeling: Familiarity with Common Product Models and complex product arrangements.

• Delivery Focus: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a fast-paced, structured delivery environment.
